Annoucement for 2018 Nerenberg Lecture 21 Mar 7:30 pm
Nerenberg 2018 poster
- 2017-2018 B term key pages
- ANNOUNCEMENT: 6pm Jan 18 (Thursday). The Wiki/Confluence areas
and the Bitbucket/git repository areas for the class are available again.
In addition to being up and running, 5 new git repositories were added.
These were for people who didn't have accounts as of Wednesday's class.
The first two letters of their account names were aw, dh, fh, mk, and sr.
The earlier difficulties with these areas was apparently due to consequences
of security patches that were applied to the local network around 9pm Jan 17
(Wednesday) -- things were still not available as of noon Thursday Jan 18,
but are available now (6pm Jan 18). Happy computering.

note taker to help make the class more accessible.
isn't discussed much in the CS undergraduate curriculum, it turns out to
be a significant issue in industry as so much is funnelled through web pages
that often don't meet legally mandated accessibility requirements.
(Indeed last semester I taught a grad course that introduced some of these
issues CS9622a: Nonfunctional Software Requirements: Safety, Accessibility, and Sustainability.) The above volunteer position
would give one an opportunity to get insights into these issues that aren't
available from textbooks.
