The intent is that you will practice steadily through the semester, not only practicing all the material, but also having time to reflect on that practice. Keep track of the time that different tasks take and don't become more than 6 hours ahead of schedule. If you are going to be behind schedule, contact the professor as soon as you know and file reports on time for any week that comes up short. As a grad course, our marks are not due til January (unless you are trying to graduate this term or your department handles marks differently than Computer Science does), so, if needed, there are a few weeks of flexibility in the scheduling.
In the event of group practice, each group member is expected to separately file a report on each week's practice.
Note that the format and/or focus of the weekly reports will doubtless evolve across the semester, so keep an eye on the comments that appear on your reports as well as any general discussion of how to make a good report.
