The DREAM is Just Beginning

DREAM

With funding support graciously provided by Microsoft and ATI, we were able to acquire new equipment for the Digital Recreation, Entertainment, Art, and Media (DREAM) lab. The purpose of this lab is to facilitate the study of technological and artistic issues and problems encountered in the design and development of applications in this area, in particular video games.

This lab consists of 20 state-of-the-art machines, and officially opens to student in September 2005. This lab will be used to support existing curriculum in the area, including our course in game design, and to support the introduction of new curriculum, including a new course in game programming and engine development, and a broader program of study in the area.
