My research interests include the theories of formal languages, automata, codes and information transmission systems, and their applications. My recent or ongoing work concerns, for example, models of computation, bio-chemical computing, fundamental issues in computability, algorithmic information theory, synchronization properties of codes, security of protocols and information theoretic properties of grammers.
In another project, I attempt to develop the theory and the systems for the provision of information to handicapped persons - blind persons, in particular.
