My current research is concentrated on combinatorial techniques in computer vision and medical imaging. I am interested in developing graph-based representation models for image data using ideas from probability/statistics, physics, and geometry.
I work on algorithms for segmentation (N-dimensional image data) , stereo vision, motion estimation, image restoration, registration, object recognition/matching, tracking, texture synthesis, and other problems.
