Announcements



- The final grades will be submitted shortly. If you have any questions or problems regarding marks please send an email to the course email address (cs209_AT_csd_DOT_uwo_DOT_ca). Also send an email if you want to pick up your old tests.

- Because of technical problems with the copying machine, Test 8 has been moved from March 19 to March 24 (Monday). The regular test schedule continues after that, that is, Test 9 is given on March 26 (Wednesday) and Test 10 is given on April 2 (Wednesday). The material to be on Test 8 is not going to change from what was announced in class. Test 9 will focus on formal deduction, soundness, completeness and material covered on March 24.

- There was an incorrect version of Exercise 7 posted for a brief period of time. Please make sure that you have the new version (posted below)

- The course outline is available in pdf format and ps format

- Franziska's office hours on January 15 have been changed to 11:30 - 12:30

- A sample test for Test 1 is now available in pdf format and ps format. For technical reasons the pages are in a weird order.

- There is an unfortunate typo in the sample test which leads to an ambiguity: In Problem 3, in the sets N and P, all occurrences of the symbol T should be replaced by K. Without this change, T is being used in two conflicting ways.

- If you are having Problems opening one of the pdf documents, try to DOWNLOAD it first and then open is locally (This sounds strange but seems to help when there is a problem with the connection)

- A sample midterm is available in pdf format and in ps format. For technical reasons the page ordering might seem a bit strange.
