CS4480y - Game Development Project

Fall Session 2011

Announcements
(Last Update: November 22, 2011)

New! November 22, 2011: I've posted some git instructions from last year here. They seem to work fine ... The repository is in /gaul/special/cs4480/cs4480-01/Blub, so you'll need to change that. The repository is set up, so you should just need to clone it and use it.
October 17, 2011: Unfortunately, class will be cancelled for tomorrow. You are still welcome to meet and discuss the project though ... someone can let you into the class room if necessary. We will have class next week though!
October 13, 2011: Membership invitations to our Apple development team have been sent out now! Please let me know if there are any problems!
October 13, 2011: I just sent out an e-mail to all (check spam filters as necessary) to start the process on development accounts for our game. Shortly, you'll get a follow-up e-mail to become a team member. From there, you'll need to request an iOS Development Certificate and send me device IDs for any devices we'll be using. Again, check your e-mail for details or consult the "University Program User Guide" document that is accessible once you are a member of the team and have an Apple developer's account.
September 29, 2011: Just so you know, submissions to the game competition of DIG London have been extended to October 11th. You still need your pitches done for this course at the original time. This will let you get some feedback prior to the competition submission, so this extension should work nicely for us!
September 19, 2011: Details on game pitches have been posted here and linked below. Note that our pitches are due the day after submissions are required for the DIG London DIG IN Design Competition. Your pitches for this course would likely make excellent submissions to the competition, although you should check rules on the competition page about format, length, and such which may be slightly different.
September 13, 2011: A list of "must play" games has been posted here.
September 8, 2011: Initial website created for the term.
