Leaping a Sun 3
The following is a near-transcript of my call to Sun to ask about certain problems that we have been experiencing. Sun: Hello, Customer Service. Me: Yes, I've got a problem with my Sun workstations. The clocks keep speeding up and slowing down. All of them. Sun: Ah yes, Do you have an email path? If so, I'll mail you the patch. Me: Ah, it's a weird problem; it happened all at once. Sun: Yes, at 7:00pm, Dec 31, 1987. Me: What? Sun: It's a leap year problem. Me: What? Sun: We've never had a Sun 3 in a leap year before.
