Booted Where?
Part of our OA effort is to get the various legal and research staff offices set up with Word Processing, Email etc. and so it came to pass that in October our 'General Counsel' office was tied into a lan. Attorneys tend to consider the literal meaning of text (as well as imputed meaning and whatnot), and one attorney called to tell me that: "My computer won't work." "Does it give you an error message?" "Yes, it comes up and says that I have been 'booted from the fileserver', so I turn it off and try again. It has done this all morning."
