Submission instructions for assignments
You need to submit (computer) files and an envelope.
Files: For each assignment, you will create a subfolder cs1026asn1, cs1026asn2, ... in your Assignments directory. Put inside the files you are asked to submit, then click on the Submit icon on the desktop, and follow the instructions. For course, enter 1026a and for assignment# enter the assignment number. If things work properly, a pop-up window will inform you that your file will be collected, and a file named SUBMIT will have been created in the directory. Your submission will be collected automatically, after midnight on the day that you submit it.
You can submit an assignment more than once. If you submit an assignment more than once, we assume that the latest submission is the one you want us to mark.
Envelope: You must hand in a 9 by 11 inches (or larger) envelope that contains the following items:
Paper printouts of the files required for the assignment
A completed and signed Assignment Submission Form, which certifies that what you've handed in is your own work.
An Assignment Ticket, created using the prticket icon on the desktop in the first-year lab rooms.
Print your name, the course number (CS 1026a), the assignment number, and your Lab number on the envelope.
Do not seal the envelope.
Put the envelope containing your assignment in the CS 1026a assignment locker: this is locker 87 on the ground floor of Middlesex College.
Marked assignments will be available at the I/O Counter on the 3rd floor of Middlesex College. You will be able to retrieve yours by presenting your student card, which will be scanned and matched with the scan code on your Assignment Ticket.
