January 7, 2006: | Just to let everyone know, Assignment 3 is now available for pick up from the I/O counter in Middlesex College. Andrew will be handling any regrading of assignments as was done in the past. Final marks have also been computed and are posted in the glass cases near the elevator on the third floor of Middlesex College. They should be available through the registrar's office very shortly. |

December 23, 2005: | As some of you are probably aware, there were issues with the electronic submissions on the last assignment. Apparently, someone's submission corrupted the submission collection process, which then refused to collect anything past that point. Now that we can get access to more of the submissions, we are hoping to complete marking soon. Unfortunately, this will likely mean that assignments and final grades will not be available until early January. Please monitor this site, and more information will be posted when it becomes available. Our apologies! |

November 27, 2005: | Lab materials for the final lab have been posted on the labs page. That's right ... this is the last week of labs. There are no labs the following week |
|
November 25, 2005: | The assignments page has been updated to include a sample marking scheme for Assignment 3 to provide guidance that way. (It is similar to the Assignment 1 and 2 schemes ...) |

| November 23, 2005: | Assignment 2 is now available for pick-up from the I/O counter in Middlesex College. Once again, if you have questions about the marking, please see our admin TA, Andrew Skryzhynskyy. He can either help you directly, or put you in contact with the appropriate marking TA. Andrew's office is Middlesex College 21. If, after going this process, you still have concerns, then please contact your instructor. | |
| November 20, 2005: | Next set of course notes posted on the notes page linked below. | |
| November 16, 2005: | Assignment 3 has been posted on the assignments page. As discussed in class, this is the final assignment for the course and there will be no Assignment 4. (Some of the concepts that would have been tested in that assignment are handled in this one.) For assignment weights, we will examine a couple of methods and choose the one that results in the better overall grade for you. One option is to have Assignment 3 take the combined weight of Assignment 3 and Assignment 4 from the course outline (20%), while the other option is to have all three assignments remain with an equal weighting instead. | |
| November 14, 2005: | Senior Computer Science students returning from Internships will be giving Internship talks in the next couple of weeks. This might be interesting for those of you thinking of pursuing Computer Science degrees or Internship programs. The talks are scheduled for November 21, 22, 28, and 29 in Middlesex College 300, and November 23 in Middlesex College 316. All talks take place at 5:00pm and should wrap up by 7:00pm, depending on the number of speakers (varying from 2-4 students at each session). | |
