Welcome to our website to celebrate being Canadian.   From our universal health care to our beautiful scenery to our multicultural society, we are fortunate to live in one of the best countries in the world.

Canada has been inhabited by aboriginal people for thousands of years. In the late 15th century, British and French expeditions brought explores and settlers along the Atlantic coast who then spread westward. Today Canada has a diverse makeup of people from all over the world.

Canada is comprised of ten provinces and three territories.  These can be further subgrouped into four main regions: Western Canada, Central Canada, Northern Canada and Atlantic Canada.

Western Canada is home to some of the most beautiful scenery in Canada.  It consists of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchawan and Manitoba.  

Central Canada contains some of the most populated part of Canada. The two biggest cities in Canada are located in Central Canada:  Montreal and Toronto.  Central Canada consists of the provinces of Ontario and Quebec.

Northern Canada is the least populated area of Canada.  Its remoteness and harsh climate makes it one of the least visted parts of Canada but many features such as the northern lights make it worth the visit.  It consists of the territories of the Yukon, Northwestern Territories and Nunavut.

Atlantic Canada is a region that tradionally made much of their income from the fishing industry.  Its four season activities and natural beauty make it popular with tourists.  This region is made up of the provinces of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Prince Edward Island.
