FamilyCurrently living with parents. One brother, Nick Aziz, who is also one employer (owner of LeftLane News). Shouki, the family dog, is pictured at the end of this section. Work LifeStarted at MacNN in 2006 as news editor, but my diversity of skills was quickly recognized. Working as a news editor for the summer of 2006 through to spring 2007, I was responsible to write articles in a timely fashion -- preferably to beat the competing sites to scoops. During this period, I also took on the role of coordinating writers and discussing broad goals with MacNN's owner Monish Bhatia. At the start of the summer of 2007, I was promoted to the position of Assistant Publisher for the network of news sites. This new role focused more on my business-oriented skills and put me in the role of project manager for several large business moves. This role has opened up a great deal of opportunity for me within the organization. Heading into summer 2008, I hope to be launching my own two web sites. First is Opinion Junkie, a site dedicated to building a database of reviews with great ease of use to the end consumer. The second side is Tab Wire, which will be a guitar tabs site more in tune with Web 2.0. Though very different, they both have my full dedication and, hopefully, Opinion Junkie will be established before the start of the next school term.
